Ingredients:
- 1 cup margarine (or butter)
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- confectioners' sugar
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 325.
- Cream the sugar and margarine.
- Add 1 egg at a time.
- In separate bowl mix flour and baking soda.
- Add buttermilk and flour alternatively.
- Add vanilla extract.
- Grease a 9.5 inch round pan.
- Add mixture.
- Bake for 70-80 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted in middle.
- Flip onto plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
If you have different flavored extracts you can add that too to add some flavor.
